Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu Temple located in Gandhinagar city of Indian state Gujarat. It is among one of the most famous temples of India and came to limelight in 2002 due to a terror attack. Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gujarat spreads in an area of 23 acres and it was built in the year 1992. It is made from pink sandstone of Rajasthan state. Swaminarayan god is worshipped in this temple. Delhi Akshardham Mandir is another branch of this temple and it is also one of the most visited tourist place of Delhi. Akshardham Gandhinagar Ticket

Temple premises entry is completely free for all age groups. Visitors are entitled to a ticketless entry in Mandir, holy footprints and gardens. Tickets are mandatory for Exhibitions and water show. Visitors can also enter in the Abhishek Mandapam by paying a donation fee of 50 Rs. Detailed ticket prices are written below:

Akshardham Gandhinagar Water Show Tickets and Timings

Sat-Chit-Anand Water Show is the name of the water show which was held after the sunset every day. This 45 minutes water show demonstrate on a huge water screen of 80 by 60 feet.
Timings: 7.30 PM from Tuesday to Sunday (Monday Closed)
Tickets: Free for Children below 3 Years
60 Rs for age 3-11 Years
90 Rs for above 11 years of age.

Akshardham Gandhinagar Exhibitions Tickets and Timings

5 halls display the Exhibitions in Akshardham temple of Gandhinagar. Premanand, Sant Param Hitkari, Neelkanth, Sahajanand, and Mystic India are five exhibitions. Exhibition ticket price includes all the five exhibitions. Below is the detailed ticket price of the same:
Free Entry up to 3 years of age.
40 Rs for age 3 to 11
60 Rs for age above 11 years
Timings: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Akshardham Gandhinagar Timing

It remains closed completely on every Monday as it is the weekly off. It opens at 9.30 AM everyday and closed at 7.30 PM. Last entry is allowed till 7.30 evening. Two Aarti is performed in the temple every day and Aarti timings are 10 AM and 6.30 PM. Abhishek Mandapam Darshan and Pooja timings are 10 AM to 7 PM. How to Reach Akshardham Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar is the capital city of Gujarat and it is just 30 KM far from Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is the main city of Gujarat and it is connected from all parts of the country through Rail, Road, and Air. 45 minute to 1 hour travel time is sufficient to reach here and it depends on the traffic condition.

Many amenities and facilities are available here for the convenience of visitors. paid parking facility is available in the premises starts from 9.30 AM. A free cloakroom is also available in the complex to deposit the prohibited items which are not permissible in the temple. Electronic devices like mobile, camera, pen drives, music devices are strictly prohibited in the temple. Proper dress code should be wear during the visit, else, a sarong can be availed free from here by paying a refundable deposit of 200 Rs. Food courts are available inside the temple and proper washrooms are also located here. Free wheelchairs are also available for the needy person. The telephone booth is located near Premvati food court as mobiles are not permitted inside the complex.
