Delhi is the capital of India and has a very glorious history attached to the city. In this post I am sharing places to visit in Delhi with friends, family and couples. Delhi has multiple tourist attractions in which some are of historical value, some are religious place, and some are famous for shopping. It has also a large number of museums and exhibition centers. I hope below mentioned tourist places will help you to discover the Delhi in an easy and convenient way.
Red Fort Delhi
Red fort is located in Old Delhi Area in Chandni Chowk on Netaji Subhash Marg. It was built in 1648 and declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
It is located near to Connaught Place on Baba Kharak Singh Marg. It is most important and visited Sikh Gurudwara of Delhi. It is located in a Bungalow of Raja Jai Singh. Gurudwara is associated with eighth Sikh Guru Har Krishan. It has a large kitchen, Sarovar (Holy Pond), hospital, library, Langar hall and a guest house. Do not Miss the Langar and Kara Prasad of Gurudwara. It is one of the must visit place in Delhi and very popular among the tourists.

Purana Qila
It is known as the oldest fort of Delhi and considered as the capital of Pandavas. It is located on Mathura Road near to Delhi Zoo. It is a large fort with well maintained lush green gardens and a museum situated inside the fort. It opens from sunrise to Sunset on all days of the week. Visitors can also enjoy the boating in the deep lake outside the fort. If you are in Delhi, do not miss a visit to this ancient fort.

Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar is located in Mehrauli area and the nearest metro station is Qutub Minar on the yellow line. It opens on all days of week from Sunrise to Sunset. Jantar Mantar is located on Parliament Street in Connaught Place Area. Connaught Place is very popular among tourist and it is one of best places to visit in Delhi for shopping. India Gate

Delhi Zoo
The Delhi Zoological Park is located near to Purana Qila and spreads in an area of 176 Acre. More than 1300 animals of 130 species are present in the Zoo. 2 to 3 hour visit is required to cover the entire Zoo by foot. Royal Bengal Tiger, White Tiger, Hippopotamus, Rhinoceros, Elephants, Jaguar is the main attraction of Delhi Zoo. Kids will surely love this place of Delhi.

National Science Centre
It is a Science Museum, located near to Gate No. 1 to Pragati Maidan, Delhi. Purana Qila and Delhi Zoo are located very near to the museum. It is located on Bhairon Road and was established in 1992.
