Ram Jhula is a very famous tourist attraction located in Yoga Nagari Rishikesh of Uttarakhand State in India. It is a large iron suspension bridge to crosses the Ganga River in Rishikesh. This bridge is connecting two parts of Rishikesh and only pedestrians are allowed on this bridge to cross the river. Two-wheelers were allowed to ply on this bridge, now only pedestrians can use this bridge. This suspension bridge is the landmark of Rishikesh City along with the Laxman Jhula. Entry to the Lakshman Jhula is completely closed for the safety of visitors as it is a very old suspension bridge in Rishikesh.

How to Reach Ram Jhula
Ram Jhula is located in Rishikesh city and it is around 3 km far from Triveni Ghat and ISBT Rishikesh. The Sharing auto charges 20 rupees per passenger from Triveni Ghat or ISBT to Ram Jhula. It will take around 15 minutes and it depends on the traffic conditions in the city. Parking is available at the Ram Jhula however it is advisable to visit this place via public transport during weekends and holiday time.
