DUSU Elections Results 2018, Date and Candidates List – ABVP, NSUI, CYSS and AISA
Delhi University Students Union elections are around the corner and all the main parties get ready for the polls. Bustling can be seen in Delhi University campus by various parties after the notification from DU. Delhi Vishwavidyalaya has released the official notification on 25th August regarding the complete schedule of DUSU Elections 2018. Now both the major parties ABVP and NSUI are trying to convince new students and trying to increase their vote share.
DUSU polls always remain in highlight as Delhi is the capital state and results of this university shows the mood of young voters. Contestant of DUSU polls also believes that these polls are the entry gate of state and national politics. Many MP and MLA are given via Delhi University to our country, therefore, these elections are always in national highlights. Bharatiya Janata Party student’s wing ABVP and Congress students’ wing NSUI are the main parties in these polls from last many years. Aam Aadmi Party student wing CYSS also contested in the elections, however, their performance as not good. This year AAP supported wing CYSS and AISA has joined hand to contest DUSU 2018 polls.
DUSU Election 2018 Results
Result date is not announced until now, however, 2017 election result was declared on 13 September 2017. This time result declaration is expected to be on 13 September 2018. DUSU election results will be announced after the counting of valid votes polled on all the polling booths of DU. DUSU 2018 election results live will be shared here on the result date.
DUSU Election 2018 Candidates List
The main competition in DUSU polls is expected to be between National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). AAP students wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) and Left Supported Wing All India Students’ Association (AISA) are also contesting in these elections. CYSS and AISA plan to join hands for these polls and they will fight in the DUSU elections in an alliance. All the candidates will be final after the publication of final list from Delhi University at 5 PM on 5 September.

DUSU Election Schedule 2018
Delhi University has released the official notification to conduct DUSU polls on 25 August 2017. As per the notification DUSU election, 2018 date is 12 September from 8.30 AM to 1 PM for day classes students. Timings for evening classes students are 3 PM to 7.30 PM. Elections will be held with the use of EVM. The last date for filing nominations is 4 September 2018 and final candidates list will be declared on very next day at 5 PM. Election results will be announced the after the successful completion of DUSU polls.

DUSU Election Results 2017
In 2017 polls, NSUI won the top post and rest two post won by the BJP students’ wing ABVP. President and Vice President post won by NSUI and secretary and joint secretary post were won by ABVP in 2017 elections.
