Our Experience
We visited the Delhi rail museum with the kids during the summer vacations. It is advisable to avoid the summer months, as most of the Museum is uncovered. The train engines, coaches, and other equipment are situated outside. The gallery shows the replicas and models of the trains, which are situated inside, and it is air-conditioned. A couple of refreshment counters selling flavoured milk, Water bottles, chips, and cakes are situated inside the Museum. A restaurant is also located on the campus. Washrooms are well-maintained. Only one toy train is running as of now, and the small toy train is currently non-operational. Simulators are also not working. We visited this place on a weekday, and plenty of parking was available. Kids enjoyed this place really well.
