This temple is a Hindu temple that was built by the Oriya community. In this temple idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra & Mata Subhadra are worshipped. This temple idol is made from Neem wood.
This temple is simply built by the working class persons of the Oriya community. The Neelachala Seva Sangh started this temple in 1969. Delhi Developing Authority provided the land to the temple, Orissa Government also contributed to the temple for cultural and religious contributions & interest to Oriyas in Delhi.
In this temple other deities’ idols also worshipped Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Mata Laxmi, Mata Tarini, and Mata Vimala.
