Rajasthan Opinion Poll 2018, Predictions and Survey Reports

Countdown for 2018 assembly elections has begun and all the major and minor parties are preparing for the polls. As these polls are considered as semifinal for 2019 Lok Sabha polls. MP, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will go for polls in last quarter of the year. All three states have BJP government and we are going to cover Rajasthan opinion poll for 2018 elections. MP election predictions are already out and prediction surveys for Rajasthan are also out by some pollsters. Currently, BJP is ruling in the state and Vasundhara Raje is the CM from Bharatiya Janata Party. As of now based on some survey polls, Rajasthan elections will be a tough contest between Congress and BJP. Both the parties are claiming their wins and opinion polls are also supporting the claim of various parties.

ABP News Cvoter Opinion Poll

A recent opinion polls was announced on the evening of 13 August couple of months before the elections. In Rajasthan, a very good news coming for the Indian National Congress. As per their survey Congress will get 51% of vote share and BJP will manage to get 37% votes. Congress will manage to clinch victory on 130 seats out of 200 seats. BJP will be on second spot with 57 seats and others managed to get 13 seats. Now Congress will try to turn this prediction into the success and BJP will work hard to overturn this survey. For CM post, Ashok Gehlot is most favorite by 41% and Sachin Pilot of Congress is on second spot with 18 percent of votes.

Rajasthan Opinion Poll by ABP News

Hindi news channel ABP news conducted an opinion poll on the voters of Rajasthan in the month of May 2018. As per ABP news opinion poll, Congress might win easily in the state and BJP has to make way for Congress. As per current situation (May 2018), Congress will get 44% vote share and Bharatiya Janata Party will get 39% of votes. Other parties and independent candidates might get a vote share of 17%. In 2013 elections, BJP got 45%, Congress got 33% votes and other vote share was 22%.

This survey also covers the data of parliamentary elections. If votes are polled now (May 2018) for Lok Sabha elections, NDA vote share would be 45%, UPA vote share would be 42% and other might able to get a share of re of 13%. In 2014 Parliamentary elections, NDA got 55% vote share, UPA got 30% votes and other managed to clinch 15% of valid votes.

As per current scenario, it is hard to predict the winner now as opinion polls are based on a small sample and final results of the Rajasthan polls could be entirely different. Mood of the voters changes very frequently at the time of election and a rally of influent leader makes a big impact on the mind of voters.
